Agfa-Gevaert will acquire essentially all of Sterling's interests in the medical imaging sector, other than Sterling's direct radiography technology and the subsidiary Sterling Dry Imaging Systems Inc. Although the operation will lead to further concentration in this sector, the Commission concluded that the merger will not create either an individual or a joint dominant position.
