After the ECU 500 mio issue successfully launched on February 11th, the Commission of the European Communities through its financial services placed under the responsibility of Commissioner Henning Christophersen ("Directorate-General Credit and Investments") has now completed the financing of the first tranche of the Community loan to Italy with a new transaction.
