Reconnaître la prostitution volontaire et lui accorder le statut d’une profession signifie reconnaître toute une série de droits et d’obligations. Parmi les droits - pour en citer quelques-uns -, il y a celui de vivre en liberté et en sécurité, de pratiquer sa profession librement, sans être tenu en esclavage, ainsi que celui de se marier, puisque cela n’est pas permis dans certains pays.
Recognising voluntary prostitution and the laws governing a profession means recognising a series of rights and duties; among the rights – to mention a few – are those of living freely and safely, of carrying out one’s job free from slavery and of marrying, given that this is not permitted in some countries.
