21. If an expropriated interest or right or the remainder of the interest in land or immovable real rights is confirmed to be abandoned, the expropriated interest or right then revests in the persons from whom it was taken or the persons entitled to claim on their behalf or under their direction, or the land revests in those persons subject to the more limited interest or right in the land retained by the Crown, as the case may be.
21. Lorsque la renonciation à un droit ou intérêt exproprié ou à ce qui reste des droits réels immobiliers ou de l’intérêt foncier est confirmée, le droit ou intérêt exproprié retourne dès lors aux personnes à qui il avait été enlevé ou à celles agissant en leur nom ou sous leur autorité, selon le cas, ou le bien-fonds retourne à ces personnes sous réserve du droit ou intérêt plus restreint sur ce bien-fonds que la Couronne a retenu sur celui-ci.
