As regards the forthcoming EC Regulation which will amend the fisheries regulations of the IBSFC and transpose them into part of the Community law, the Rapporteur would already like to stress that the current area of application of the existing regulation should not be extended, as this could lead to an additional regulation concerning the coastal fishing of the species of the inland waters (freshwater fish such as perch, pike perch, powan and pike) which do not fall within quotas.
En ce qui concerne la future réglementation communautaire qui devra amender les règlements de pêche de la CIPMB et les transposer dans le droit communautaire, il est souhaitable dès à présent d'insister sur le fait que la superficie actuellement couverte par ces règlements ne devrait pas être agrandie parce que cela pourrait conduire à imposer une réglementation nouvelle sur la pêche côtière d'espèces d'eau douce (telles que perche, sandre, lavaret ou brochet) n'entrant pas dans les quotas.
