Clause 5 amends section 62 of the Act to exempt from the Statutory Instruments Act an order issued by the Minister of Transport allowing a non-Canadian to hold a licence to operate a domestic air transport service.15 Currently, such an order must, among other things, be reviewed and registered by the Clerk of the Privy Council16 and published in the Canada Gazette.17 From now on, the order need only be made public through the Internet.
L’article 5 modifie ainsi l’article 62 de la LTC afin d’exempter l’arrêté du ministre des Transports permettant à un non-Canadien de détenir une licence pour l’exploitation d’un service intérieur de transport aérien de l’application de la Loi sur les textes réglementaires15. Actuellement, un tel arrêté doit, entre autres choses, être révisé et enregistré par le greffier du Conseil privé16 et publié dans la Gazette du Canada17. Désormais, cet arrêté n’a qu’à être rendu public au moyen d’Internet.
