Yesterday the Government of Canada received a communication from the Government of the United States. It was by way of a diplomatic note in which the United States recognized fully and without reservation Canada's jurisdiction over Icelandic scallops both inside and outside the 200 mile limit.
Je lui répondrai qu'hier, le gouvernement du Canada a reçu, par voie d'une note diplomatique, une communication du gouvernement des États-Unis qui reconnaît pleinement et sans la moindre réserve la compétence canadienne sur le pétoncle de l'Islande, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur de la limite de 200 milles.
